2) How can I upload and protect by content?
You need to register to become a member before you can upload content to www.digitalcopyright.hk. Registration is free with 120 tokens for content upload and protection.
You can follow the simple guidelines below to upload and protect your content.
a) Click on 'Share your content securely' button on the main page of www.digitalcopyright.hk
b) Registered to become a member of digitalcopyright.hk.
c) Accept terms and usage conditions for uploading the content
d) Follow instructions on content upload.
Note: For contents uploaded and encrypted on www.digitalcopyright.hk, the content will be automatically make available for public download on http://www.iresource.hk after approval. Only content in WMV, WMA format will be encrypted and distributed.
3) What is the service fee for the content hosting and encryption service?
Content owners will be charged for the content storage and encryption service if they would like to make use of this public platform to distribute their content.
4) What kinds of file content are supported for protection?
Currently only content in WMA and WMV formats are supported. You can provide a jpeg image and a short section for preview together with the above contents during upload. Other contents types including Flash, MPEG, PDF etc are planned to support in the near future.
5) Is there a limit on the size of the content upload?
No, but we suggest to keep the size of each individual content upload within 100MB through the portal.
6) Can I specify the usage condition and sell my content on this platform?
You can define the price and usage condition for your content under the following 2 models.

Supported content types will be protected with Digital rights management technology. Contents will be available on http://www.iresource.hk for end users to download after approval.
7) Can I modify the uploaded content?

8) Can I delete the uploaded content?
Yes, you can delete your uploaded content.
